Kickin It With Fadi

No one loves freedom and America more than those who are not born into the privilege of being an American citizen. Dex sits down and interviews one of his favorite people, Fadi Faouri. Originally from Amman, Jordan, Fadi immigrated to the United States at age 16 and seized the American dream with hard work, dedication and zero excuses. During the 2020 riots, Fadi gained notoriety for not backing down to the angry BLM and ANTIFA mob who tried to destroy the business he built from the ground up with his bare hands and sweat. Dex and Fadi get deep as they talk about the current issues facing America and what it will take to keep America free. 

The Color of Patriotism

Dex is back from vacation and is ready to get back to it. While on vacation, Dex learns of the death of his friend/brother who earned the Purple Heart and Bronze Star in Vietnam. Are you black or are you just an American? Dex covers why he is changing the sub-title of his book. Lastly, Dex visits the Global War on Terrorism Memorial in Columbus, Georgia. 

Compromised

When something is compromised it does not function as it was originally intended. Dex talks about how the black community has been compromised in light of the recent tragic death of a 16-year-old black kid shot and killed while waiting for the school bus in Louisville. It is not just the black community that is compromised, but America as a whole. Dex opens up about his recent bout with depression and calls himself out for being a hypocrite. Lastly, race issues and fear mongering in America have reached a new low by way of American politics and the media as Maxine Waters tries to convince black people that they are being taken back into slavery. 

Dear Mayor

The title of this episode says it all. Dex has a respectful message for the mayor. Is the far-left and cancel culture coming for Dex and the I Am Pitts podcast?

Interview with the Irishman Chuck Cooper

Dex sits down with his former beat partner, now retired LMPD Sergeant Chuck Cooper. With 38 years of experience in law enforcement, when Chuck talks you listen. Dex and Chuck discuss the many issues facing LMPD, law enforcement and the city of Louisville. Crime, corruption, leadership and what police department's can do to start recruiting the best candidates for the job. Chuck shares stories of his time in uniform and the time the KKK came to Louisville to protest. Lastly, with the help of his fellow retired law enforcement officer's, Chuck shares the story of Louisville's first black female police officer, Bertha Whedbee, in 1922 and how the law enforcement community came together to honor her. 

Heroes Saints and Bad Decisions

What is a hero? What is a saint? The bar for what defines a hero and what defines a saint in America has been set so low that we are now assigning the titles to people who are the exact opposite. George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Daunte Wright and Ashli Babbitt have had the title of heroes and saints bestowed upon them for the bad decisions they made that led to their demise. The media, politicians and their corrupt agenda are complicit in the misuse of these terms and use the death of these individuals to further divide the American people and advance their careers and turn a profit. Is LTC Allen West a hypocrite? Dex speaks on the DUI arrest of West's wife. Dex shame Vice News for trying to tarnish the Marine Crops on the same day that 10 Marines lost their lives in Kabul, Afghanistan. 

Weak leadership and weak Christian men.

Afghanistan has fallen and the Taliban are back in control. Dex weighs in on the lack of leadership and accountability on the behalf of the Biden Administration and their mishandling and mismanagement of the Afghanistan debacle. Has anyone seen VP Harris? Dex is angered after watching a video of Antifa attack a church event in Portland, OR while Christian men sit back and watch as their church members are attacked. Where have the strong and fearless men of the Christian church gone? Lastly, Dex goes in on the Christian church, its members and leadership for becoming woke and allowing BLM propaganda into the church. The church should not be concerned with saving black lives, but saving all souls.  

Louisville Is Not Safe & The Not So Sexy Side of Policing

It has been a rough week for the men and women of the thin blue line. The law enforcement community and the citizens of Louisville mourn the loss of Jefferson County Sheriff Deputy Brandon Shirley who was ambushed and killed by cowards. Dex talks about the Chicago Police Officer, Ella French, who was killed in the line of duty over the weekend. Dex calls out Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer on his BS for insisting that Louisville is safe. Dex details how unsafe Louisville truly is and the close call his wife and kids had with a possible carjacking attempt that was averted by his wife's quick thinking. Dex let's Congresswoman Cori Bush know that she is a race baiting hypocrite. Lastly, Dex runs down the list of the things that he dislikes about being a police officer.     

What's To Love About Policing

Dex opens the episode by paying tribute to Sergeant First Class Alwyn C. Cashe who is being posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor for his actions on October 17, 2005 in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Dex learns of the sudden and tragic passing of his childhood friend and fellow law enforcement officer Deputy Kevin Johnson and has a moment of silence. Dex opens up about his reluctancy to deal with and talk about death. Despite the craziness surrounding the profession of policing, Dex shares with everyone the 10 reasons he loves being a police officer and serving with the Louisville Metro Police Department.   

The War on Terror 20 Years Later - Peace is an Illusion

As the 20 year global war on terror comes to an end and US troops withdraw from Afghanistan, Dex is left with many memories but even more questions. Were the American lives lost in Iraq and Afghanistan worth it? That is a hard question for Dex to answer and he feels conflicted about it. Dex does not want to believe that the loss of his brother's lives and the injuries he suffered were all for nothing. Even though we are in the final pages of America's latest war, Dex reminds everyone that peace is an illusion and that only the dead have seen the end of war.
