The Current State Of Policing In America

After a brief hiatus, Dex is back to discuss the current state of policing in America. Dex talks about what it is currently like as a Louisville officer dealing with staffing shortages and the current political climate. Dex talks about other major police departments around the country facing the same issues with retaining officers and recruiting new officers. For the first time in the history of the I Am Pitts Podcast, Dex reaches across the aisle and invites a black, far-left, anarcho-communist who hates the police with every fiber in his body onto the podcast for a discussion. Lastly, Dex, just like every other officer in America is tired and frustrated and is trying to encourage not only himself, but other officers across the country to continue to hold the line despite the current time we are in.

No Justice In The Justice System

Dex address the recently released Uvalde school shooting videos that has everyone upset and himself included. Brittney Griner has been locked up in Russia for over 150 days and people are upset that the United States government has not got her home. Dex reminds his fellow Americans that the rest of the world is not America and gives three examples of Americans who FAFO (look it up on urban dictionary) overseas and are no longer with us in this life. The Biden family has had the worse week ever of any family in presidential history with Hunter Biden's phone leak and Jill Biden comparing Hispanics to breakfast tacos. Lastly, Dex talks about the recent shooting of a LMPD Officer who was "allegedly (I hate that word)" shot by a fleeing suspect with multiple warrants who has an extensive criminally history and has escaped and evaded time in jail time and time again. Dex wants to remind everyone that sometimes there is not justice in the justice system as the system continues to fail and puts officers and citizens at risk. 

Hope For America - Interview With Brian Parrish

Dex had the privilege of being a guest on Brian Parrish's "Parrish The Thought" podcast a few months back. Now Dex has the privilege of having Brian on his show as a guest. Dex and Brian discuss many of the current issues plaguing America and some recent hot button issues such as Roe v. Wade, Juneteenth and how social media is widening the gap and causing more division. Dex and Brian do not just discuss the issues, they try to think of reasonable solutions and alternatives to make America better for everyone.

The Wrong Focus

Dex is back after a disruption in his work schedule. He weighs in on the Supreme Court decision to overturn Roe v. Wade and address Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer getting molly whopped in downtown Louisville. More information continues to come to light about the Uvalde school shooting, and Dex confronts the ugly truth about the Uvalde PD response in light of the new information. LMPD's aims it's focus on racial healing and transformation training for officers as opposed active aggressor training and response. Dex blast the U.S. Navy for focusing on inclusive speech, proper pronoun usage and safe spaces instead of being prepared for America's next battle. Lastly, Dex has a bone to pick with Republicans and Conservatives about their dislike of Juneteenth.

American Reality Check

While the country has all ready moved on from the Uvalde school shooting, Dex is now ready to talk about the tragedy and give his input after taking time to process the event and wait for more of the facts to come to light. Dex talks about the Uvalde police response, politicians grandstanding on dead kids and how we move forward as a nation. There are a lot of emotions, questions and problems that need to be addressed in the wake of Uvalde, and Dex does his best to provide his insight into the problems and provide possible solutions to save America's children and America's future. Lastly, Dex pays tribute to all the American men and women who have paid the ultimate sacrifice for America in a Memorial Day tribute.

Interview With Retired Officer And Founder of The Blue Phoenix Initiative Nathan Daley

After being dragged down the interstate at high speeds by a suspect's vehicle, Officer Nathan Daley suffered horrific injuries that lead to him being medically retired from law enforcement in 2021. Although retired from the profession of policing, Nathan's love for the job and passion to connect with the community is still on duty. In the wake of his injuries and unexpected retirement, Nathan started the The Blue Phoenix Initiative to help injured police officers who suffer from emotional and financial distress. Nathan and Dex discuss topics such as police reform, the history, division and miscommunication between the black community and the police, and Nathan's struggles after his injury and recovery. Nathan address many of the problems impacting policing and the community, but he also provides the listeners with sensible and reasonable solutions without bias.

Media Deception Corrupt Cops And Lyin’ @$$ Victim’s

A black man is shot and killed by federal agents in Louisville and stirs up Black Lives Matter protest and activist. Dex is called to the scene to keep the peace and has a run-in with a former friend turned anti-police who is not happy with him.  The new buzz word being tossed around by the left to create fear and division is "replacement theory". Vice News is the first news media outlet to admit that Breonna Taylor was holding drug money at her apartment. Lastly, Dex shares his thoughts on the recently released Vice News story accusing the Louisville Metro Police Department of heinous acts and crimes. 

The Summer Of Dong Cometh Early

The Kentucky Derby is officially over, and you know that the summer is right around the corner when every other call for service is in reference to crazy, naked, homeless people strolling around downtown. The summer of dong has come early to Louisville and Dex has an unfortunate front row seat to the show. Even the police are pulling out their dongs and putting them on display in San Jose, California. Cryptocurrency and the economy continues it's downward spiral and Dex starts to lose faith in America due to Lowe's and Home Depot. 

The Job Changes You

Exhausted and running on fumes, Dex is back for another episode as he is on day 8 of a 12 day stretch because it is Derby time in Louisville. Dex tells the listeners what the last few weeks have been like and clues them in on the madness he is currently facing. Having been in law enforcement for 13 years, Dex realizes that he has changed over the years as a person and as a police officer and he shares those changes with everyone.
