Not many people can say that they wore a police uniform for 38 years. On today's episode, Dex sits down and reconnects with one of his all-time favorite LMPD majors, Bill Kristofeck. Dex and Major Kristofeck chat it up as they talk about major's early years in life, his career and the two reminisce about their time together in the Second Division (West Louisville). Bill Kristofeck was a true leader on the department. It was his big heart and leadership that not only saved Dex's career, but his life.

Protest season is coming early in 2022 and Dex has a front row-seat to the show. Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer wants more accountability from the Louisville PD about the death of Breonna Taylor. But the real question is, who is holding Mayor Fischer accountable for the massive increase in crime and record breaking number of black lives lost to violence under his administration?

Dex has the honor and privilege to interview Vietnam combat veteran and Author Joe Fair. At the age of 18, Joe Fair signed up for the Vietnam War draft. Instead of waiting to be called, Joe was ready to serve his country and request that he be pushed to the front of the line. Assigned to the 1st Infantry Division (The Big Red One) Joe finds himself in the middle of combat against a very tough and elusive enemy. After returning home from the war, finding a career and retiring, Joe decides to write about his tour of duty in the Vietnam jungle. 

Crossover Episode With Project Sapient - Ain’t No Brothas In The Infantry

Just Because You Can Does Not Mean You Should

Dex is back and he has a special guest with him on the show-The Omicron Variant! After detailing his eight hour trip to the VA to get treated, he recaps his trip to Austin, Texas to be on the Drinkin' Bros Podcast. According to VP Kamala Harris, The Pearl Harbor Attack, 9/11 and the January 6, 2021 Capitol incident are "same same, but different". Dex sets the VP straight with some facts. Lastly, Dex breaks down the Tucson PD shooting from November 29th of last year where a TPD officer shot a man in a power scooter with a knife, who had just committed an armed robbery. Dex puts aside his personal feelings and does his best to give an objective recap of the incident according to Arizona Revised Statutes and reminds everyone that just because you can do something legally, it does not mean that you should!

Book Pomos Whiskey And Hungover In Austin

Dex travels to Austin, Texas to do his first book promotion with the Drinkin' Bros podcast. Dex is joined in Austin by his BP friends, who he has not seen in almost two years, for this very special occasion that leads to lots of adult drinks being consumed and Dex getting lost and separated from his boys in downtown Austin and being saved by Austin PD.
